Perhaps it would be best to speak about my appointments as there seems to be discontent regarding them.

It is sad that others force cliques and groups. My appointment was well understood and indeed, something of a bridge between two areas. However, if it will cause the disintegration we hoped to avoid, it would be best if I returned to my original post alone, as much as it grieves me to do so.
