(NB: For the most part I'm really selective about the canon I accept from side sources, just because they often make more plotholes than they mend. I intend no censure towards people who adore every panel of the Betrayal comic; it's just my personal opinion that Tron's writers have some issues with their female characters in general, and Betrayal

Thanks for taking the time to read everything, and I'm glad you seemed to enjoy most of it! I don't count out most of the facts of Betrayal, by the way, I just thought the comic was poorly implemented. The glaring factual error about the MCP on the first couple of pages really make me read the whole thing with a narrower eye. I don't really consider my storyline an AU (anymore than any fanfic is) but I do suppose it will be by default once Tron 3 comes around!

Also, I apologize if I didn't make clear at the get-go that I really don't seek out concrit on my work. Unexpected critique has a bad habit of sabotaging my creative process. I hesitated to post anything to a fic com for that exact reason, honestly. I limit my posting as I write fanfic solely for my own pleasure and to share with people who might enjoy it--it's not to seek out commentary. I don't mean that against you, I just think I've gotten used to the critique discouraged button on Y!gallery, and to the fact that most people who read me already know that. I don't mind at

I like how this Tron genuinely feels "younger" than the one to follow and Clu as well, although he also feels more alien with his lack of empathy and comprehension.

And Jordan I whole heartedly agree.

Jordan I really wish we could have seen in action, not "Oh fine honey, it's okay that you're super-neglectful!" She built that basement for Flynn; she knew what was going on.

Writing that culture gap is seriously one of my favorite things about writing in this storyline. <3 The way it's the same, the way it really isn't, and how those things fit together.
