A reunion between two old friends in Eternity: These Mortal Things.

Every now and then I'll write something that makes me lean back on my hands when I'm finished, and just look at it a while, and think.  This was one of those times; less out of a sense of accomplishment, per se, and more because the older I get, the more love letters to these

TK, you hear the Eternals with a clearer voice than anybody in this circle of ours. It's something that I've always envied about you, honestly; you can take something like "near-godlike ascended mortal beings who've lived for millions of years and are masters of all the stuff ever" and make them seem approachable and comprehensible. I can't seem to relate to them in that way, to draw out the personae and personhood that they have, although I'd certainly love to. All I ever see in them is something to fight, whether on the level of a character battling them or in a way to break down what they represent. You can engage with them on a purer level somehow, and it comes through when you write them. That post was no different; despite all the flak that Fabian and Mishnu take sometimes you can still write an impressive piece like that about them, and I think that is a catapan, all the way down.

Eh? Wasn't me, haven't had time to comment much of anywhere, lately.

Though if this happens to be from a journal called "goldbibird", I got a strange comment too, but it's since been automatically deleted and I notice the journal itself has been suspended. No idea what that was all about. o_O
