So I'm sure being that this is a David Tennant community that most people have already seen it, but I just finished watching it last night and I was blown away! Even young!David was a great actor! And that show was so good. I didn't want to stop watching when I did but it was already 2 in the morning. (I finished the next day.) But wow. I actually ( Read more... )

Mental David is best David. He's even mental on Doctor Who, so he must know it's true. lol

It's interesting, because I have spent time in a mental institution and David portrayed it perfectly.

I first saw this movie about four years ago, before I saw David was on Doctor Who.

I own it on DVD and I have watched it heaps of times. Baby!Dave is such a great actor and his manic episodes are so truthful.

Between TOTA and recovery, we need no more proof that David is the best one!!

He has definitely worked his way to the top of my favorite actors' list! I still have to see recovery, though. Got a little bit of backtracking to do since I only became a fan because of Doctor Who.

I love the scenes with his dad. He just manages to show so much emotion in those six episodes it's amazing. And you're right, they did an amazing job with the cast and screen time for each. I actually had favorites of the supporting characters - Fergus and Rosalie - because they're acting was so great.

Oh yes! I really liked it too and he was really good! I want to watch it again but at the same time I'm scared of like episode 5 and 6, it's too depressing and I get sad easily =.=.

lol, I know what you mean. They didn't spare any handkerchiefs when they wrote those. But it did make the show seem more real and belieavable, the fact that everything didn't work out.

Love TOtA too! Those scenes with his poor non-comprehending father would break the heart of a stone!
