So...is there some sort of curse going around that makes people inept at housework? Or is it just the people I know today? It feels like most of what I've done today has been trying to solve some disaster that happened when someone tried to clean or cook

Also, foie gras de canard is duck liver. It's expensive. and made by torturing ducks

Kaoru said it "wasn't foreigner food", so I was expecting that. Although...liver, really? That doesn't sound all that appetizing.

There's a lot of fat in it, and that changes the taste.

It's also slightly illegal in some countries back home because it's usually made from ducks or geese that have been force fed.

I don't think so. He said he didn't know the recipe. He probably just gets served it and never found out how it was made.
