Shiki, it had nothing to do with braiding hair other than the fact that it meant I got to touch her hair.

Uh-huh. I bet that's exactly it. Of course, you walk around with a braid too so I wonder what I'm supposed to believe.

...It grew long when I was sleeping and Rosette braided it for me when I was a kid to keep it out of my way, that's all. We just got into the habit after a while. I haven't been able to braid it well since she left, though. She never taught me how to do it.

But I guess that's where I got the idea.

I guess you're right, would be just like something else to happen that distracts everyone. But yes, I'll be waiting here. I should warn you, when you open the apartment door you might get knocked back the smell of irises.
