[Shiki pulls open a drawer and takes out a butter knife. He glances at her from the corner of his eyes]

Don't worry. I'll protect you from that fiend.

[She sets the bowl and spoon down, waving her hands before her.] O-Oh no, no! You misunderstand...! C-Chrono...Chrono isn't like that, really...!

[The boy taps the tip of his knife on the bridge of his nose, clanking on his glasses. He's really holding back from laughing.]

Oh, I know what he's all about.

[Enter Chrono, looking incredibly grumpy--his cheeks maybe slightly red. He stands at the entrance, looking in, his voice grim.]

[He lightly tosses the knife at him and pulls another out of the drawer.]

[And here stands Azmaria, looking pretty dazzled and confused.] Pl-...Please, no fighting...! Not in the kitchen, oh Lord...

[Chrono glances over in Azmaria's direction, catching the knife and holding it out in front of him like a sword.]

[To accentuate his point, he flips his knife so it's gripped in reverse.]

[Where is Rosette when you need her-- Torn between running in between both of them and stopping this or just staying put. Tough decision.]

[Instead she just clasps her hands together and begins to throw out a Hail Mary as if the words would materialize before her and restrain the two boys.]

[Chrono yelps and jumps back, swinging his knife towards Shiki's to block the strike.]

[When the knives clang together, Shiki's bends at a really awkward angle.]
