DRAGS FACE ALONG FLOOR

I'm going to have to read it again so I can actually focus on the plot instead of dying a little bit inside in joy at all the little character interaction and THE RINZ, holy crap, there's RINZ interacting in a fic that I DID NOT WRITE and this means the absolute world to me. And Kintarou being perfect and Tezuka and Niou being a dickbag and arughag, I could go on and on.

GOODNESS I LOVED THIS YOU BRILLIANT ANON

BEAUTIFUL RINZ FRIENDSHIP - you grew their relationship perfectly, from enemies to trusted friends. I loved the little details along the way, and I especially loved the scenes in Oshitari's house, from his clawfoot bathtub right down to Zaizen being grumpy over the lack of soup.

Your characterization of Rin was also lovely, how he tries so hard to be invulnerable, but then we see really see his hurt in that conversation with Kai. Surfing is such a priority.

HAHAHAHA I LOVE THAT LITTLE MOMENT AT THE END WHERE RIN RUBS IT IN ZAIZENS FACE THAT HE KNOWS HIS NAME. justice, know-it-all Z.

oshitari zaizen sandwich hnnnghh. also, the echizen-kin interaction was perfect.

If the story wasn't going into a certain direction, I would have included a sample of Oshitari/Zaizen/Oshitari, but there just wasn't time. Z had things to do, places to go, and people to screw over.

I've already told you how much I enjoyed this but I'll say it again anyway - I really had fun reading this... more than once.

While I know Mathias is all about the RinZ, I loved every 'Captain' scene. And how everyone kept bringing up Atobe 'accidentally' shooting Tezuka. Just how accidental was it?

I really think this universe you've created has a lot of room for further exploration in either their histories or futures. :D :D :D

Oh and Kin-chan is precious and lovely and Echizen definitely doesn't get paid enough to babysit him (even if he does enjoy it). And I bet he'll be pissed when he finds out Tezuka was there and avoiding him... and also not dead.

The 'captain' scenes were some of my faves, namely because I like making them be snarky & sarcastic. :) Um... mostly accidental. Like, maybe 60/40 accidental.

I see that hint.

Echizen doesn't get paid at all to babysit Kin, but he's too competitive to let that kind of insult go. And yeah, he's going to be so pissed when he finds out.
