~The Questions~
In your own words, describe what a rival is to you:
A rival is a person who challenges you and brings out the worst and the best of you. They are those people whom you generally envy because they have something you don't have, thus in the process striving to have and to achieve what they have.
Personality-wise, what do and don't you like in a person?
I like people that are silent, intelligent, somewhat prim and has this mysterious aura around them that draws me in to them.
I don't like people that are back-fighter, cruel with words and people who use others just to get to the top.
What kind of person can you see as a good rival?
A good rival for me must make me feel that they're challenging me yet they don't know it themselves that they have that effect on me.
What things are you physically and mentally good at?
Physically: Sports that involves kicking balls and running.
Mentally: Generally anything that involves words, imagination and story.
What things are you physically and mentally not good at?
Physically: Stamina a bit of a problem and eyesight too.
Mentally: Math. My brain doesn't accept too much numbers. XD
Using tennis as a example:
a) How would you react if you had to work with someone you considered a rival in a doubles game between (say) the Golden Pair?
I'd feel challenged. Not only am I fighting the opposing team, I am also subconsciously fighting my rival. But amidst of all, I'd be honored.
b) How would you react/feel if you lost to your rival in a singles game? I'm going to be super disappointed. But playing with my rival and seeing that he did his best to crush me, generally showing extra effort despite not obviously showing it, I guess it's pretty satisfying to see him get worked up with me.
