*snorts instant breakfast drink out of my nose at the ID card comment*

yeah, that was what i thought, but is it something the scotland yard really needs to be involved in if he is specifically not using things like bank details he found in the drive?

I am absolutely disgusted at the BBC.
The title of the article reffering to the website as a "Hate Site" sets the tone for the rest of the article.

it's ridiculous. i actually didn't notice the title until after i'd posted.

it does have 'hate' in quotes. then again, earlier i noticed they had 'pregnant' in quotes for a story a pregnant iraqui was shot and killed as she was in labor.

Amir is a good bull shitter - he even convinced the beeb of his poor hard done by act. Now, if only he paid the cash back.

amir does give out the image that if you lie/rip people off/lie more - you cn get away with stuff. That is what this country is about now, I guess :(

it's not just there, sadly, but it does feel a little more constant and prevalent for some reason. :/

soooo... did the bbc even SEE the website? i can't imagine someone would automatically pick that side if they had actually read it... then again, them reporting it without having seen it would be totally bad journalism. (not that this isn't)

Bad journalism methinks - there have been another million hits *overnight*

Have you seen the "homage site"?

Absolutely hillarious. What legal grounds could they have on any of this? He bought the laptop fair and square. All property on it is not legally his.

sorry, my husband was still logged on & accidentally posted as him.

but yeah, i think most people agree with you, but amir has found SOMEBODY to take his side from somewhere...

Sorry, I meant to say "now is legally his." Once you buy a computer, you can do whatever you want to the information. Thats why they tell people to clean computers before selling them, and to not even sell the hard drives. Anyway, bleh.
