I think QAD has to be Galadriel. She isn't really a hobbit like the rest of us you know. I also think it fits because she is terrifying and magnificent at the same time, while also being removed and oddly detached from what is going on around her. Nevertheless she has all the answers and already knows everything that's going to happen anyway.

Hmmm ... interesting ... now you've got me thinking. Who else have you already cast?

We'd already pretty much decided that she's Galadriel, yes, for exactly the reasons you've stated. Who's a terrifying female force in Ling? That'd be her!

Well, there's some dispute over COM, as B's mentioned above. He's gone from being Gandalf to an Ent to Bilbo, above. (Loney thinks Chafe should be an Ent, though.) So we don't have a solid on him yet. And we did this all in the Lab one afternoon, so let me see if I can remember anyone else...I think we had an Elrond, but I'm not sure who it was. Oh, the Chair was Elrond! Yes, he fits nicely.

We still have a bunch of the Fellowship to do, though. If the grad students are hobbits, who's Aragorn and Boromir and Legolas? (Is your Goddess Legolas? It'd fit. *g*)
