If you're a Firefox user and having functionality issues (e.g., 'post comment' button is grayed out, can't select a userpic, userpics with more than one keyword not posting even though you selected them and instead you end up with the default userpic, etc.) and you are running Greasemonkey, this is most likely the problem.
Disable it by going to about:addons in Firefox and clicking the button that says: Disable under Greasemonkey. OR just turn it off by clicking on the little monkey icon in your Firefox browser window. Probably in the top right corner, under the close window button if you're running 7 or higher. The comment pages will still be ugly, and you won't have subject lines, but it should fix most functionality issues regarding actually being able to make comments from a laptop or desktop. I can actually use the new comment page and the icon I select is the one that posts, no matter how many keywords it has.
Update to the update: I'm actually being told it's just the script to stop the FB/Twitter connect ( ... )
