I'd say it probably involves some revelation about Jack knowing that Ianto's going to die. This may or may not take the form of some random fandom dig, again. That's just my speculation

Radio Play #2 was painfully embarrassing right up until the cracktastic part where Gwen accidentally broke both hands off a dead guy - been a loooooong time since Gwen made me lol.
Oh, and, shades of the Dead Line. The score NOW reads ... Ianto says ILU = 2 Jack says ILU = still 0
I don't think this is the play where we get the awesome Ianto revelations, which BTW I am NOT looking forward to :( .
Basically, Ianto had another girlfriend, or maybe she had a crush on him, or whatever, from Torchwood 1. Ianto tells her he loves Jack. Says Jack will one day leave him. FORESHADOWING ANVIL OF DOOM about Ianto's eventual dying in CoE and Jack becoming mortal/dying in MD. (at least that's how I saw it)
Ianto in this one had the most annoying American ex girlfriend ever. Who had a hissy fit at one point and Gwen actually said that she didn't really need to worry because whilst everyone died at Torchwood one, this is Torchwood three. Which beggars belief given they've already lost Suzie, Owen and Tosh in Gwen's short time there.
Really lovely little bit when Ianto talks about loving Jack but he'll never be his because Jack has no choice but to leave everyone, he has to. Which sounds really like your theory for tomorrows is right, and in fact your theories are right anyhow!!
There's going to be a character called 'Mr Jones' in the final play and considering the nature of the story - ghosts? - I wonder of the voice of Ianto's father turns up.
I really really don't want it to be another Jack-related issue that Ianto's got to think about - not unless Jack actually responds to Ianto's worries this time, in a distant Jack-like manner of course.
I'd rather it wasn't anything to do with Jack myself, but if there's a daddy thing involved I am staying well away. Russell's got an awful history giving people daddy issues and Ianto's post-death pasted-on daddy issues really rubbed me up the wrong way in CoE, I'd rather not hear any more of them. Especially in light of the hero-worshippy way RTD wrote the Jack-Ianto dynamic in CoE, which gives the whole thing a squickiness it didn't before.
I just want something original, not 'I'm going to die young and Jack's going to forget about me' if at all possible.
Ianto left so many questions behind -
a)what happened to his mother? b) why did he know about that hospital in From Out of the Rain? c) why did Evon 'little miss empire' Hartman hire someone who was only "an able student but not exceptional"??
If RTD ever decides to bring Ianto back, he's got a good excuse for doing it - just who WAS Ianto Jones?
I'm still waiting for any mention of a mother for Ianto. I'm beginning to believe it was an immaculate conception by the father (Torchwood-related, of course) and that's what we'll find out tomorrow! Daddy Dearest resented his baby boy for ruining his figure; he couldn't fit into any of those impeccably tailored suits he had in his closet after Ianto was born...he also got arthritis in his hands soon after so he couldn't make any more, which is why he had to work in Debenham's instead. Major daddy issues, indeed

I think you saw it pretty right there.

Maybe she's adopted RTD's point about who 'everyone' consists off.

There was a bit of dialogue that made me laugh, it was basically Jack saying, "listen everyone I'm going to become mortal, then die. OK?"
