I built a fenced and roofed cat-run to avoid problems like yours. The cats had free access to go through a window whenever they liked.

It was a great way to keep everybody happy.

We still ended up picking up deceased pets at the very busy corner we kived on...

Have a tonne of fun at Escapade!

We were thinking about building a big inclosure next to the house so they could go in and out as they chose. All our cats have been strays that we've coaxed in and the boys still love their freedom. The girl kitty seems content to stay in at the moment. I know they would be safer if we could just keep everyone in.

We're there now. We were just deciding where to put you. Under the table, out on the balcony? *g* There's plenty of space actually. Looking forward to seeing you. AND I remember the Splenda. Don't forget the Virgin seat buckle, please.

Oh Somebody else who watches curling :-)

I've been watching as much as I possibly can and I'm so loving both of the Canadian teams and some of the shots they are throwing are this side of amazing!

Just finished watching the women's Canada vs Switzerland game and were off to the gold medal round against Sweden... YAY!

Some of those shots must be radio controlled! It's been wonderful to see some matches. I've got three games tivo'd for Saturday. :)

That must have been a most unpleasant beginning to your day. I'm glad Buddy is okay though. Poor skunk.

I know coyotes have to eat too, but I wish they'd do it FAR away from anywhere small (or large!) pets live.

I was just coming home so I had no idea if Buddy was in or out. I just went in and hugged the little guy. He was all "oh, that's nice!"

I was pro wildlife in all their varieties, but after years of them hanging about looking for the unwary--and seeing missing pet posters in the neighborhood, I find it hard to be 'live and let live.' They scare me, not for myself, but for those I care about.
