That was a good deal on the computer chair after all. The guy said it was a $850 chair but I was thinking, "yeah, right" but I liked how comfortable it was. I found out it is a Steelcase Leap, more than likely used/repossessed as it has a few scratch marks on it ( Read more... )

Have fun in your first class seat! I'll be stuck with the masses in the back of the plane.

We must have bought at totally different times, because in order to get a reasonable price, I have to leave at dawn AND take switch planes twice: Boston to NJ, NJ to Detroit, then Detroit to Lansing. Of course, part of the problem is that Logan apparently launches flights all over the world and to every coastal airport in the US, but doesn't send anyone into the midwest. Idiots.

Are you leaving Wednesday? I'll be going on Thursday. I'll probably be packing late into the night tomorrow... See you there!

I bought my ticket in March. First class was 2.5 times what the economy was. When I checked two weeks later, that price has doubled and has stayed that high since. I wonder if I lucked into a mistake pricing?

Flights to Lansing were $800, so I'm changing planes once (Houston) and landing in Detroit. Have rented a car as car prices are really cheap. A week for $170. An economy ticket to Detroit and the car was still cheaper than flying to Lansing. Go figure.

I'm leaving Wednesday. I'm almost packed. I'm just waiting for the dryer to finish. My plan is to be in bed after watching NCIS and The Mentalist. :)

Boston to NJ to Detroit to Lansing? *So* irritating.
