Sep 29, 2007 15:23

Scooter finally ate some catfood at 3am last night. Today at 9am it all came up--all over my bed. So, instead of going to the local fan meeting, which included a lovely drive to Ojai, I'm doing laundry. Lots of laundry ( Read more... )

I will warn you, I've been told some stuff has been cut. So, if you have the UK version, hang onto it until you get the DVDs.

I wonder if the confidentials will be on the dvds? I believe these will be released on Nov 6, 2007. I'm really looking forward to it.

It's been 4 or 5 months since I saw these, and I know they have to have cut some, but I didn't notice anything specific.

They cut part of the phone conversation between the Doctor and the Master and they cut Jack's line when Martha was talking about having feelings for someone who didn't know it. So, rather small, but Jack's was especially telling. If Sci-Fi ever gets "Torchwood", I think Jack/Ianto's reunion in the last ep and Jack/Jack's kiss will certainly end up cut.

Yes! They had a commerical in the middle of the phone call; that's probably why I didn't notice. And I did miss the exchanged between Martha and Jack about the Doctor not noticing their attraction to him. Yeah, they didn't want to show that Jack was interested, but they did show the kiss between the two during first season.

If they cut the Jack/Jack kiss, that will definitely effect the story. Bad SciFi.

I hope you don't have to go back to the vet, but if you do, I hope a different vet is on duty.

He's been sleeping on Mom, using her for a heating pad, I think. He's nibbling at kibble a couple of times and so far so good (almost 9 hours). He's feeling very, very frail and seems scared to eat right now. We're giving him lots of consoling. He's so terribly thin, though. Two full days without eating when you have no reserve is a scary thing.

Poor Scooter! Give him a gentle hug from me, and a sympathetic mrreooowww from Snicky.

I am getting sooo into Torchwood. Wow - tonight Ianto became an actual person to me. And Owen and Gwen snogging, lol.

I am sick. I'm fascinated by Owen.

No. I would have liked to have gone, but I didn't want to drive in an unfamiliar area after dark (my night driving vision isn't that brilliant). It would have taken me between 1-1/2 to 2 hours each way, and I could only have stayed a couple of hours. If she ever hosts in the summer when it's dark later, or if I could ever hitch a ride, I'd love to go.

Sorry you couldn't make it to Kris'. We had a good natter, and the drive was lovely, after the hour just to get through L.A. Ugh! Lots of chatter about Zcon, trains, earthquakes, Pros (of course!)and we even watched some music vids that Kris had.I now want some Pros DVD's of my own!
I got home at about 8:30 and was pooped for some reason. But, I did manage to catch Doctor Who, which was excellent as usual.
Changing the subject to Scooter, have you tried the fish flavour malt stuff, for hairballs? It really helped Thistle who hates nearly everything, when she was constipated, and throwing up everywhere. It may help the hairball move along.
What are the confidentials by the way? Extras on the DVD?
