It breaks my heart to think of Rose ever intentionally abandoning any version of the Doctor.... but it is a strong basis for examining the potential of this relationship... and I like the great start you've gotten off to!

I love your portraits of TenII and River. They are both fascinating!

I hope you'll do more!!

Thank you so much! I hope I continue to do them justice. And Rose will get her due later in the plot. She's not the bad guy in this fic in any way. We'll see how it goes :D

I did feel a LOT of apprehension about posting such an unpopular premise. I am one of the biggest Rose/Ten shippers, so the idea of writing this is daunting.

Cloen definitely loves Rose, but I've been very particular about how to set up a dynamic b/w him and River that operates off of that. This story is more true to what I think Rose would have really done at Journey's End, and Part Three will give an empathetic reason behind it that will allow Cloen to heal.

Also, I do have a few Ten/Rose stories in mind. My next project will return to them (aka my comfort zone) and make up for my infidelity, haha!

Thanks as always for your support! <3

So I admit that this is not a pairing I normally read but I love everything you write sooo here I am :)

I've always liked the potential of River Song but did not care for the character development in the current series. So much of it was disappointing so I'm glad you've taken the River Song from the Library and decided to develop her in a new way. Although it breaks my heart to think of TenII abandoned, I like the way you've handled it by not over angsting him or making him go on and on about Rose. I think that was really smart and pretty accurate to his character.

Yeah, I'd read more of this. Well done - you made me want to read this pairing!

Great! I agree the Doctor would suffer but not languish. As always, he pulls himself together to face the future. But I think he's up for new challenges now that he has a deeper emotional register.

River is going to come off a little superficial at first, because I think she is a flirtatious, if not brazen character. But I'm going to pull back the layers as the story continues, slowly revealing why she acts the way she does, and how the Doctor impacts her.

We'll see if I can keep it going. Thanks for your feedback!!!
