Even though it will seem like summer for the next 2 months or so, I thought I'd reflect on the summer that was, ie, pre-school

I've been working with autistic hard of hearing/deaf kids for a couple of years now, and it's been lots of fun and very rewarding. It's part of the reason I entered grad school for speech language pathology (which is bloody hard!)

When do you get to start school?

Yeah! I work with one student that has a cochlear implant. She's challenging on many levels...

I actually just started school on Tuesday!

Mickey jostled a box of cupcakes today and the lot of 'em were ruined. True friends muss up everything!

...and believe you me, that filthy little cheating bastard sure as hell ain't no fuckin' trophy. not worth fighting for. nope, but ya can't win the trophy til you've run the miserable fucking marathon (haha fucking marathon that's funny).
