There are many key points in both the North and the South that were important to the war. The following are the very important places that will work as our main settings. Of course, we'll also cover everywhere else, but these are important to take note of.

NORTH

Cleveland, Ohio - In the original war, Cleveland was an important source of both supplies and troops. It will be the same in Liberty Flight, but with the addition of a breeding ground and a covert. Ohio itself will have several other breeding grounds and coverts in it.

Cincinnati - In the original war, Cincinnati was important for producing troops for the Union, particularly from Camp Denison. It shall be the same in the RP, but Camp Harrison, which is near Denison, shall be changed to an aviator school/training grounds. Cincinnati will also have several other coverts everywhere, and the largest breeding grounds in the North. The place is a prime location for a covert/recruitment and training center because it protects Cincinnati from the opening that the Ohio River provides the Confederates. The Harrison covert is one of the biggest in the country and is the biggest in the North.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - In the original war, Harrisburg was a large producer of supplies and recruits, much like Ohio and Cincinnati. Apart from that, it was also a logistics center. It will be the same for the RP, but the original Fort Washington and Fort Couch will be changed to fortress coverts. Pennsylvania will also have other breeding grounds and coverts scattered across the state, many of them in borders.

New York City, New York - New York was a prime source of supplies, troops, ammunition, and all kinds of equipment. The same will go for the RP - New York will produce all of these, and will also contain a large breeding ground, mostly of larger breeds. The covert will be on one side of the city, while the New York breeding grounds will be somewhere further in the state.

Washington DC - It's an important location for logistics and strategy. It also holds a small covert for the aerial corps, but nothing too substantial. Mostly, it's a great stopover in between long trips for formations to rest and stock up on supplies.

SOUTH

Atlanta, Georgia - Georgia was an important state for the South, and was the rail and commercial center for the Confederates. It will still be the same in the RP, with the addition of a covert in Atlanta itself, as well as breeding grounds and several more coverts scattered through the rest of the state. It is the location of the biggest breeding ground in the South.

South Carolina - This was an important place for both sides of the war because this was where started and ended. It worked as a source of supplies, troops, and military officers for the rest of the Confederate army. In the RP, it will have several breeding grounds scattered throughout the area, as well as the following:

The Citadel - In the original war, South Carolina had several military academies and training grounds that produced recruits and officers for the army. It will function in the same way in the RP, with the addition of major aviator training grounds and coverts.

Fort Sumter/Charleston - Fort Sumter was the fort city where the original Civil War started. It worked as both a source of supplies and as a fort that held the Union off. It will be changed into a fortress covert in the RP.

New Orleans, Louisiana - New Orleans was the largest city of the South in the Civil War. It served as a recruitment and training center, as well as a source of supplies and equipment. In the RP, it will function in the same way with the addition of a covert and a breeding ground. Louisiana itself will have more coverts and breeding grounds scattered throughout the state. In the original history, it was occupied by the North even before the timeline of where the RP starts. In Liberty, it wasn’t occupied by the North because the South had sufficient dragons to defend it.

Richmond, Virginia - The capital of the South in the Civil War. It was a major source of supplies, equipment, and troops back in the war. Considering its importance to the South in the war, it should have a covert, while there will be more coverts and breeding grounds throughout Virginia.
