I had intended to revisit all the books before this new one came out (TOMORROW!), alas, I got distracted. :)

To be fair, and honest, the longer a series goes on, the harder it is to dedicate the time/energy to re-read the whole thing before the next book release.

I remember swearing to myself I'd re-read the entire Wheel of Time leading up to the last book when it came out. Yeah, that didn't happen. That would have been a huge, impossible task for me at the time, at least, not without going back and re-buying all the books as ebooks or audio. I might still wish to do that some day, if I feel like I have a few months to kill.

Skin Game just arrived! (Too bad I'm on Fool Moon.) BTW, when the last book came out I hadn't reread, so I'm not redoing the series _every_ new book. Just once in a while.

And talking about WoT, I got the last two books for Xmas and am planning to reread the whole thing before breaking them open, but it's been years since I last have read that series and there SO MANY threads I think I wouldn't get nearly as much out of it without doing that.

I think at this point, the only way for me to re-read WoT will be digital format. I'm not going to hold up those dictionary sized tomes and try to read any more. I'm just too damn tired to do that.
