Well, I loved Rachel Caine's Ill WInd, and her short story here was my favorite of the batch. But that's all I've read of hers, even though I've got books two and three of the Weather Warden series in my TBR pile. :)

For the most part, I think we agree about this anthology, though I do vehemently disagree that the Knight story was the most original. I think the execution was so sloppy that it took away from what originality was there, because I spent more time trying to figure out the story AND technical details. Anyway... :)

And you're welcome! :)

I thought Ill Wind was just okay. Not a waste of time, but I was never tempted to continue the series further. I absolutely despised Glass Houses, and didn't like her stories in My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding, or The Eternal Kiss. That's why it completely floored me that I liked Even a Rabbit Will Bite so much. As far as Beknighted goes, it was the only story of the bunch that I really disliked. It's kind of a shame, because I really like the idea of mixing magic with any kind of art.

Oh and thanks again for the ARC!
