As for seeing Timeline (the movie)...too late. 0_o.

I loved Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! It's one of my personal favorites out of the series.

Ah Hollywood...

And I have to agree with you on Prisoner of Azkaban. After Goblet of Fire, it's my favorite of the series. I also really like the movie adaptation of that one. I felt that it had really great atmosphere, especially after Columbus's rather boring directing style.

I agree with MOST of your choices. I forgot about HP having the time travel element and while I enjoyed TSNOTD, I would replace it with DOOMSDAY BOOK by Willis.

I'd also add Diana Gabaldon's OUTLANDER. :)

I have yet to read Doomsday Book, but after all that good I've heard about it, I'm thinking about picking it up soon :)

And damn, I feel like I'm the only person who hasn't read Outlander.

Just note that DOOMSDAY BOOK is entirely different in tone and style, so don't let the difference from TSNOTD jar you.

And OUTLANDER is a very fast read, despite its length.
