I want to read this, but if it is similar to Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, I am not sure.

It's similar as it takes a proper British society that's filled with women who are very concerned with balls and finding husbands and adds in supernatural elements that would normally feel very out of place.

It's not similar as there is considerably less gore and violence. Now, there's some gore and violence, but it's not as over the top. It's also not a parody.

Make sense?

You can enter a contest at Jawas Read Too! for a change to win the sequel!

I keep debating this one. It doesn't SEEM like my cup of tea, but then I keep hearing so many good reviews...

I'm planning on entering the contest already, but thanks for bringing it up :).

To be honest, Soulless is a bit heavier on the romance than I typically go, but I did enjoy it. Oh, and amazon has the first six pages up to read if you want to test it out before giving it a shot :)

Oh, thanks for the head's up! :)

I don't think I'll mind the romance, but you never know with me. It really depends on how it's handled.

Phew. I originally posted this by accident on the Catching Fire entry, but this is what I meant to say here:

I haven't had a chance to pick up the second book yet, but I'm looking forward to reading it. Do you know if Carriger plans on writing more than three, or just leaving it as a trilogy?

Sleep is a good thing Nancy. Yes.... Sleeeeep

Sorry to bombard you with so many comments at once! I have been having a hard time keeping track of LJ, so I added you to my blog roll over on blogger. I'll definitely be checking in more often! :)

I don't know if she is planning on writing more or not. I certainly hope so. It's such a fun series! :)

Ah. I keep all of my non-LJ blogs on my google reader. I would never keep track of them if I didn't. Don't worry about all of the comments. If I had been a little more awake last night, I would have been better about responding to them.

And thanks for answering my question :)
