This book actually came out in 2010: right when the boom started really happening. I know that doesn't matter much now when you're reading it after reading a bunch of stuff that came out after, but I thought I'd point it out. ;)

That's true. So it wouldn't be fair to compare it to Incarceron, which came out the same year. My bad for not paying closer attention to dates.
And that's awesome! I missed out on that part, given that I listened to the audio, but it's cool to see your name in print. I just got a kickstarter reward in the mail (Clockwork Phoenix: Vol 4) that had my name in the back among the other backers, and it was kinda fun to see me listed there with established names like Delia Sherman.
