I loved the bits where Coyote is referred to in the books, especially that silver-cleansing bond magic. I think Mercy will soon get to know all the implications of being of Coyote's bloodline. Yay!

I enjoyed that part two. The Mercy books are pretty standalone (which I like), but I also like the fact that it references plot lines explored in earlier books.
