You've pretty much hit all the points I was feeling about this as well as given me even more to contemplate.

It was the low point of the series so far for me.

Yeah. I feel kind of bad giving this such a negative review, because there are some interesting ideas here, but it never really worked for me. I've read somewhere that the tone for this graphic novel is similar to the tone for the Jack of Fables comics, which has pretty much convinced me to never read those.
