I'd highly recommend Larbalestier's MAGIC OR MADNESS trilogy. It's her debut, but it's the very first thing I read by her and it's delightful. LIAR is still her masterpiece, IMHO, but MAGIC OR MADNESS has a special place in my heart.

This is good to know. I just requested the first book in the trilogy on paperbackswap. I'm really interested in Team Human as well.

Team Human was KIND of on my radar... I've really pulled away from YA as a whole though, and even though I like Larbalestier, I don't have any loyalty to the co-author, so I ended up shrugging it off.

Also, the cover is horribly bland and boring. :)

I've been meaning to read this for a while. Your review was a great reminder to bump it up a few notches on my TBR list! I really enjoyed How to Ditch your Fairy!

Yeah, just remember that this is very different than How to Ditch Your Fairy. It's kind of nice that she can write different types of stories.
