I decided I just have to read your reviews of the Dresden Files books, too. XD

I agree with you, and tell everyone that the first three books are good, but the series doesn't really get going until Summer Knight. It's when Butcher starts getting away from the formula of the first three and starts cutting loose. And Butcher cutting loose is fun.

Why thank you, although some of my older reviews aren't as in depth as they should have been :)

Most people I talk to say that the series launches as Summer Knight (except for one, who said Grave Peril). I heard he actually wrote the first three books for classes, so in many ways that was him learning how to write. Summer Knight is when he started to write the series for the series.
