So, it seems like lately many of the people I know are caught up in turmoil and misfortune of only the direst kind. Some of it I'm not at liberty to talk about, some of it involves family and I don't want to drag it out in front of everyone. The point is it's bad shit, and it's happening around me, but not to me

Well how are you supposed to know what the right questions are without asking a bunch of wrong ones? Those are strange times indeed when you personally are in balance, but everyone else around you is wrapped in confusion. It takes a lot of energy to not get caught up in it, and maintain ones contentment. I don't have any advice I just wanted to say good luck.

I never understand why people try to create drama in their lives... mine comes with a healthy helping without me doing anything to encourage it. I know people who are dying - in a sense other than how we all are. I don't want them to die. I realize they will be here in one way or another, but I need them around just as they are. Complexities we do not get to decide for ourselves.
