Haha! "Whippersnappers." But on a serious note, growing up on TNG has given me such glee over the recent rise of tablet computers, so reminiscent of Trek's use of the PADD (which I always wanted as a kid). Roddenberry was a freakin' genius, on so many levels.
I have to say, the only reason I didn't purchase an iPad the moment they came out in spring 2010 is because I was paying down my credit card debt; it was my reward in October for doing so successfully. But even the idea fulfilled some longstanding desire I held to own a PADD. I believe that's why they called it an iPad, too--they were tapping into the subconscious cultural knowledge Americans have of Star Trek. Which sounds a little silly, now that I write it out, but I do think that.
Between my iPad and my iPhone I feel like I have a tricorder and a PADD, and that fills me with joy even after years of ownership. (I just don't wear any red shirts anymore.)
