Yup. We were going to touch up a coffee bean she tattooed on herself in the same spot on the finger of the other hand, but after getting this, she decided she was done for the day.

I think you'd really have to ask Mez if there's a story. From my perspective, we really just like artichokes (I want an artichoke tattoo as well).
