A bottle of wine sailed through the air and, after spinning several times, landed smoothly into Allen's palm. With it no longer moving, the label was revealed to be Romanee Conti, a famous and expensive brand that sold its bottles at more than a thousand dollars per piece. Several people familiar with the brand held their breath in awe and terror. Allen, he just smiled.

Romanee Conti... He had to handle many of these bottles in the past, didn't he? It was one of the favorite brands of Cross Marian, General Exorcist and his teacher, and one of the main reasons why the two of them were so deep in depth at this point.

There's no way in hell he would break something like that.

A familiar flare of pink caught him from the crowd, and Allen answered it by raising his hand and waving back cheerfully.

"Euphie!", he shouted, only managing to swallow the 'miss' part so he wouldn't embarrass himself in the crowd. "Enjoying the show?!"

Allen was well familiar with the idea of having to pay for damages. Of course, he'd never break that. Losing money over such things was one thing he could survive, but he wouldn't want to embarrass Euphie by making her lecture her bartender in public. It would hurt his gentleman's pride.

"I'm glad to hear that," he commented as he rolled the bottle back into its place and returned to working on drinks. A small twitch passed through his face as he opened yet another bottle and was hit by the smell of liquor, but he didn't let that hurt his smile. It wasn't time for personal dislikes.

"Oh? I didn't tell you?" He looked in her direction as he proceeded to casually pour the contents into the glasses arranged into a simple figure on the table. "About my profession before I studied under Master Cross?"

She was glad to have the night off of work. Lenalee really did need the break. Ever since she'd gotten a job at a grocery store not too far from her flat, she hadn't taken a break. All of her free time had been spent looking for the others. Lavi was still missing and after the intial meeting with Miranda, she was gone too. She hadn't seen any sign of Kanda.

She was dressed casually, in a pair jeans and a shirt. She had promised Allen she would get footwear so she wore a pair of sandals. Lenalee pushed open the door and glanced about the pub before she smiled tiredly. She hadn't expected Allen to be there, but that was alright. She sat down at a table and let herself relax in the chair.

Allen was still pulling his routine at the bar when a familiar sight of short black hair caught his eye. He froze for a moment, the bottle still in his hand, and then focused entirely in order to confirm his suspicions. Sure, there she was... Lenalee, dressed so unusually plainly, at the table. Was she alone here? Did she even know he was the new bartender here?

There was one way to fix the possible negatives to those questions.

"Give me a minute, guys," echoed a familiar voice from the bar. A minute passed, and then a loud clang echoed from the table as a glass was set onto it. A moment later, a bottle was turned over it and a faint sense of cold soda filled the air.

If Lenalee would look up right now, she would find Allen smiling down at her as he posed in complete bartender regalia.

"Please, enjoy yourself."

To be honest she didn't know Allen was the new bartender. Lenalee blinked, her eyes widened slightly as she tried to process whose voice she'd just heard. She did look up and her tired smile shifted to a warmer one. "Thank you, Allen." She didn't want to take up his time she was sure he needed to spend working.

"How has your day been?" But she couldn't refrain from making sure he was alright. He seemed fine, but she could never been too sure.

"You're welcome." He kept his glowing smile as he spoke. Several particularly drunk people around the bar already made noises in his direction, he was sure, but he didn't care. Even at work, his friends' comfort came first.

"It's been great. The work here is easy, and my boss is kind. I like it." He beams down at her for another moment, but then realizes something. It's evening, isn't it? Lenalee's been working for an entire day, too. Is she alright? He should've asked sooner.

"How about you?", he adds quickly, still doing his best to keep up the smile. "Are you tired? Hungry? If you want anything, just ask. It'll be my treat."

It seemed like he would have to do some subterfuge if he was going to be able to get what he wanted. If he mentioned to Suzaku that he wanted Euphie to be the second pilot for Lancelot 2.0, he was certain that he would end up with a broken nose or something else possibly broken or fractured for such a suggestion. Still, what Millay had told him gave him some interest, that she was a pilot back in her own world. That meant that she might give him some interesting data.

Of course, he would have to find a way to get her to agree without him actually speaking to her about it. If there was enough wall of people between Suzaku and him on who talked her into such things, Lloyd might be able to get away before any harm came to his body. Sure, he was the instigator, but so long as he said no words to her about it … he technically was innocent. Hm! Suzaku probably won't see it the same way, but it can't be helped."'Princess's Legs?'" Lloyd found the name to be quite ironic and wondered if she came up with it herself. Perhaps, he would ask ( ... )

Eh? I've been spotted.

He too was finding that he was getting just a little confused on the whole matter of who she was. For a moment, he thought that it wasn't too odd that she knew his name since he was somewhat known in the circles of the royals of always not quite acting how a nobleman should act. However, he snapped himself out of that brief confusion as he remembered his mission. Perhaps, he could get the attention of her helper by dropping something. This could not be considered a failure to launch so soon.

The panic-spazz was obvious for a few more seconds before he appeared to have calmed down with his hand resting underneath his chin. "Aha? It seems as though I died." That was how he remembered things anyway and he was completely fine with that. Now. Well. No use crying over these things. The fragility of life and all that.
