It was extremely hard work looking for virgins when the majority of the populace couldn't see you and didn't pay you any attention. That didn't mean it had been completely uneventful, though. Yukimura liked taking things easy, so even just walking around with his turned vampire friend was entertainment enough.
After awhile, however, Wei had seemed to have given him the slip.
What was the man thinking, just leaving him to his own devices? That wasn't any fun. And hadn't they agreed to go to the haunted house together? Yukimura had only been joking when he'd mentioned counting on Wei in case he got scared. The great general Yukimura, getting scared of something like that? It was an amusing thought.
Deciding to follow the other man, Yukimura made his way through the business district until he came upon the right street.
Sure enough, it was all there: big, 'creepy' looking house, and Wei standing in front of it.
"Abandoning me to my own devices - you've hurt my feelings." the samurai smiled as he made his way over.

No. He was a Contractor, and it didn't matter who would be with him when he walked into that building. Any feelings he had were completely and utterly fake, and he knew it. Especially a feeling one felt for a friend. With his Contract, he lost his emotions. He had seen the man fight those cops, and it had attracted him enough to let the man stay around. That was it.
"Yukimura," was all he said before turning back towards the haunted house. There wasn't any emotion in his voice. His next words though were filled with amusement, though rather fake amusement to humour Yukimura. "You followed me anyway."

"Of course." he replied. "Which means I either have better manners, or I'm just persistent about having my fun."
Seeing as Wei didn't seem the kind of person to care much, or at all, what others thought unless it suited him, Yukimura doubted manners mattered very much to the other man. They were likely a tool to him. But that was okay - the latter was true enough anyway.
As he stopped next to Wei, Yukimura also looked up to get a view of the house from closer by.
"It doesn't seem especially...anything. I wonder what bothers people so much about it."
If Yukimura had made it his business to look through the other journal conversations, he might have found out. It was in his nature to gather information and to be prepared, but this world had kept him otherwise preoccupied - there were still a lot of things he was figuring out. That, and the digital level put him at unease sometimes.
After a moment or two of silence, he looked over at his friend.
"Wei? ... What are we waiting on?"

Well, that made sense. It also explained why Wei had been waiting outside a moment ago instead of simply going in. But that still left them with the problem of actually finding someone to go in with them. People had been talking about the place over the second level, but there weren't too many of them here, overall. And who was to say they would come by today? They might just wait until the-
'click, click click - Hello~!'
And there was their answer...in the form of a cat-boy?
Yukimura turned to look at Ritsuka, momentarily surprised. The child looked like something the Mibu would have made and thrown away into the Sea of Trees. There were ears, and even a tail!
It wasn't polite to stare, however, so he smiled.
"Hello. My name is Yukimura, and this is Wei. Who might you be?"
