So I've finally updated my Bio! it was so naff before and now much better, reflects me I think.

I've also now got 2 chapters of Navigating Rough Waters up at bloodclaim although it would appear posting on what I think is Thanksgiving weekend means very few comments :~( at least that's what I hope and not that the fic sucks

Holiday weekends are always a bit slow, as people are busy, plus it is very early chapters... you'll get more comments when you get further along and have a readership established. From the look of it, none of the other posts are getting a large reaction either, so I think you can be sure it is the timing and not the fic itself.

Thanks, just having a moment! I'm sure you would tell me if it was crap and all cliqushayed. I've been having moments of 'crap it's all been done before', and I know it has and by better writers but this is my fic, my take on it. Ch 17 is stuck in a morass of flickering 'how too' and 'what ifs' with the need for better character depth and believable plot making my head spin.

It feels kinda weird and I know there's no loyalty(that may not be quite the right word!)amongst writers/commentators but I read and comment on so much stuff it feels weird not to have done the same. I'm not sure if people arn't reading or just arn't commenting.

And I guess if you weren't my beta I wouldn't feel secure enough to talk like this to you. Not complaining just letting the thought dribble out :~}

Hey anyway how's the beta on Ch 7-9 going? How's the workaday world treating you?

Many readers just lurk about and seldom comment... even though I *know* it's bad, I often fall into that pattern myself. I try to make up with it by giving LOTS of feedback when I beta
