I will absolutely watch that, and I will also mourn because it looks like it's going to provide yet another crappy portrayal of my poor Royalists. I know the puritan side gets the advantage of having pushed for a certain amount of democratic reform, but they also CANCELED CHRISTMAS people! Puritans = White Witch.

I keep meaning to go back to Diane Purkiss' recent "people's history" of the Civil War--I bought the paperback in London a year ago--but the thing that interested me was how sympathetic she was to Charles I at the beginning.
