Trashy awful, like it could work for me if it didn't take itself too seriously, but on the other hand, the One Woman Featured makes me disinclined to actually check this out. Like, is she there to provide pluck and encouragement, and also Lurv, from the sidelines? Will there be an inevitable love triangle? Will it be as excessively heterosexual as the trailer makes it out to be?
...In that trailer I saw one (1) woman who's likely to be a recurring character, and one (1) POC who very well could not be. Because, you know, Shakespeare's world was not only For Menz, but also Totally White.
Sadly, one person of color is more than you usually get in costume drama! But everything else looks like a disaster. It's not that you couldn't make a good version of such a show; it's just that this isn't it. :)
