I read it! Liked it a lot. I was at the release party (I know her slightly, as she's done some Victorian Gothic panels for me for the New York 19th Century Society) at a speakeasy bar, too. (Not the event that she's posting about in an entry that happens to have shown up just below yours in my feed, but a party she had for the hardcover last year.)

I really enjoyed it! I've been trying to decide which of my friends would enjoy a copy, now that it's out in paperback. :)

Just finished reading it. A bit of a slow start but once I got about halfway through, I couldn't put it down. LOVED Jo so much--but I have such a weak spot for overprotective older siblings who are perhaps too bossy for their own good. ;)

I had a similar experience; even though I liked the beginning, it didn't grab me the way I'd thought it might - but then somehow the book picked up steam and I couldn't stop reading it!

And I also really loved Jo. :)
