why does technology hate me?

My computer has yet again decided over the last two days that it doesn't want to connect to the internet for more than three minutes at a time. I know you are all disappointed that you won't get a nice juicy Mansfield Park dissection based on tonight's adaptation, but sometimes life is just unfair that way. :)

I'm not sure how I feel about Billie Piper, actually. I feel that they changed the conception of Fanny Price (who is supposed to be shy, weak, and retiring, not constantly running about playing badminton and tag) so thoroughly that I can't really evaluate the performance.
