Making my way through my library requests: two down, but the other two might need to go back unread; my brain keeps bouncing off of one of them especially.

But I did read The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker, which I enjoyed. (It feels to me like this book has gotten a lot of press compared to the average fantasy novel, especially for a debut
