I think (correct me if I'm wrong, tempests!) that the implication was that the CW itself is pretty horrendous. :-) The mind reels at all the ways they could mess this up.
It is pretty fascinating, though: First "Great Expectations" and now this. Wonder who told the CW it was time to class up the joint.
Yes, that was what I meant. If the horror were actually appropriate to her life, that would be fine! But I keep imagining some studio exec's idea of what a teen-oriented show about Mary, Queen of Scots should look like, and it scares me.
