It occurred to me, on a tour around the internet, that because I never properly posted about "Vampires of Venice," I never did a proper Rory love-post. This is not that post, but it's a start.

I didn't think Rory was a dork-- I thought he was pretty sweet, and maybe that Amy didn't quite deserve him -- I decided this the moment he complained that she made him dress up like the "Raggedy Doctor". But I guess if a "dork" is the nice guy we women habitually ignore or adopt as "a good friend" maybe he is.

Well, by 'dork' I might mean 'earnest and easily flustered'--which are characteristics that get tagged as dorky or 'uncool,' but that I like and sympathize with. As for Amy: one of the things I really like about Rory/Amy is the way their relationship seems peculiar from the outside, but it makes sense to the two of them.
