Man, I wish more plays were filmed! Stage plays don't always translate to film so well. And I know that immediacy and ephemera are part of the experience of the theater. But how often is one going to get to see plays in London or New York, you know? (NOT NEARLY AS OFTEN AS ONE WOULD LIKE!!!)
Exactly! It might not be ideal, but it's something for the rest of us.
(Though I suppose I can't complain *too* much in that regard, since the RSC is filming/has filmed David Tennant's Hamlet. And I promised I would be a good little girl--at least for a while--if they did that.)
I certainly hope so! It would be really useful--and then maybe more people would teach All's Well, since they'd have a recent production to use in class and direct their students to.
