He was changeable. His one weakness. So when offered the chance to abandon his web, his games, his plans in favor of blowing up planets? He took it. Why wouldn't he?

Especially when the person offering that chance was an attractive woman with demons looking out from her eyes. Demons he recognized as being like the ones that stared at him in the mirror.

"I was a consulting criminal. I helped people commit crimes, managed a web that spread across the planet and was in general a very bad man. And what about you beautiful lady? What do you do when you're not granting wishes?"

Theirs would be fire, she was sure of it; her fingers felt the heat as they crept up to his cheek.

Eudoxia has always been rather good at playing the innocent card, and as a pretty blonde woman, it's not the hardest card to play.

He leaned into her hand, lips curving into a smile which would have sent so many people running. If he hadn't been so good at seeing through such ploys, and if he hadn't seen her face after the explosion, he might have believed that innocent look. But it was a good look on her...

The way he leans so casually into her touch, lifts the corners of her mouth. He has a rather expressive face, each twitch of his lips, or move of his eyes speaks volumes to anyone able to listen.
