Poor Robert! I've only seen episode 1 of series 1 and then this new series, but I rather like him.
I'm predicting:
- He'll either start experiencing freaky stuff due to the tumour, and he'll then either question Alison's psychic abilities even more, or he'll totally come on board or
- He'll realise more so than ever the need for people to believe in an afterlife as he's faced with his own mortality, and he'll again become even more sceptical or
- He's not really got a tumour at all... or it'll disappear due to some weird psychic experience thing.....
I'm hoping for the latter!
Er, yes, so... lovely icons!

I love Afterlife too, it's great writing and it's really scary sometimes...well, more so than Medium or Ghost Whisperer. :)
Poor Robert. :( I can't believe he's going to die either, I agree with all of your theories but also thought of a few more:
- Alison takes on his tumour through some mad super psychic voodoo stuff and then it goes *poof* ( a bit like your thrid theory).
- He does die *pouts* but becomes Alison's "spirit guide" or whatever they call them..
- He dies and we all cry. (hopefully not this one).
Thank you very much for your comment, nice to chat to you. :D xxx

My Classics tutor totally trashed Troy but I love it all the same, even the silly bits. :)
