I watched the show regularly, but I felt even at the best of times it was unfocused and meandering.
It had good moments here and there, but rarely good entire episodes. And it was incredibly difficult trying to explain the show to anyone to get them interested.
I wanted to like it a lot more. I wanted to feel like the show was really going somewhere, even if rather slowly. But I don't think it was.
Ya know, I remember feeling the same way about Dollhouse when it was cancelled, so I think I understand the frustration of watching a show that feels 'unfocused', but, I honestly did not get that feeling while I was watching Caprica.
If I had one crticism of the show it would be that a couple of the major characters had a likeability problem. And I don't mean likeability in the sense of 'I like you, let be friends and go have a beer.' I mean in thesense that you are invested in their development, whether it be in a black, white or grey direction.
Perhaps I was more invested in the show because its premise is one that I find very interesting and there aren't may shows that actively deal in that dialogue. Either way, I still bummed.
