Wow! Very evocative. I like how you broke every section of their life together with Cara's breaking. It really gave this a focus and the end although short is perfect.

Thank you! I tried a little some thing different this time than my usual straight forward narrative. Happy to see it didn't go too haywire.

I'm sorry, did you say something? I was a little distracted by your icon! ;-)

Thanks for always dropping in! It's a bit of of a potpourri of emotions, but I'm glad I 'sold' you on it in the end. :-)

"She wouldn’t have to do this if she wore pants like the boys, they had pockets." -- The annoyance of my adult life is that woman's pants don't have pockets.

Oh Dahlia: “Then take what is already yours.”

So beautiful: “I hate that he touched you first.”
[...]
“He only touched my flesh. You were inside me first.”

Very interesting: "it was part of their duty to please their superiors when it was requested of them."

This was wonderful.

Thank for picking out your favorite parts. I'm always curious to see what sticks with the reader...which is usually the exact opposite of what I predict! Lol!

So happy that you liked it!!!! I was a bit trepidacious about posting it, because it's not what I'm used to and I wasn't completely confident in it. Your comments make me happy I did!
