This was wonderfully written and gave me such a great insight into Wes and now I totally want him and Medusa to be FRIENDS FOREVER (>>; I know - I'm a geek) and for them to somehow help Martha.
Wuaghhhh. Just - all the preparation and now all the helplessness - I just - waugh incoherent but I wanted to leave a comment. I love Wes and I loved this despite of or because of the breakyness.
He made himself into this weapon so that someday, he would be able to protect his ward once the ward was found. He made himself this way so that nothing could ever touch the person he was meant to guard with his life.
My favourite part. Just - all the effort and everything he was made for and worked for and this is how it's turning out. I can't even say, but it brings up all the emotions of it beautifully for me. :>

Wes isn't the loudest headvoice of mine but when I zero in on the Calling and the Guardian side of him he just seriously comes to life for me. I love writing him, and I love exploring his backstory. There's so much that's revealed to me to as I go along, and I understand him better.
I love that tooooooo even if I'm evil. I love that he's just built himself into what should be, for all intents and purposes, the perfect guardian, and that's not what will help Martha. I love that he can't instantly fix it no matter how much he may want to AND HE WANTS TO SO BADLY. XD
