My animals are the same way.
whenever I have to go, they come up near me and give me these eyes that I just can't stand to leave.
Then when I get home they are waiting for me at the gate, it is just too cute.

btw, my one dog looks like the dog in your icon. =]

I've never had a dog, but if I ever got one I'd want a little chocolate dachsund (sp?). They're adorable.
