Victory of the Daleks
First off, I'd like to say that while this was not the most effective use of Daleks ever, it was certainly better than, uh, most of them. For some reason, the absolutely terrifying pepper-shakers of doom are usually pulled into action when there's a rather uninspiring plot for them. Or the creepiness factor gets written out. The steampunk elements of the show are probably my favorite Moffat!thing so far - how nifty was that video screen they were using to watch the Doctor fight the Daleks on the ship, all wobbly and brassy and tiny and black-and-white?
I'm not sure which idea amuses me more - that he keeps a jammy dodger on hand just in case he has to use it to fight aliens, or that he is the type of person who keeps his snacks in his coat pocket. Either way OH ELEVEN.
