Oh, sis, you are the onl person I know who would grade her lunch. On the other hand, your lunches sound really good, and I miss making you cook for me. I think Japan is getting to youif you care about appearance, though. /I/ never would - but I have never been as much of a food nut as you.

Speaking of nuts, Daddy brought a bag of toasted salted almonds from TJ's and they are very good. I am eating them right now. Did you hear Ansel tried almonds at the paternal reunion this year and loved them? So now he likes nuts, but not in things yet. We will convert him yet!

Hey, good going! I am glad that the long nut drought might end soon.

Heh, grading lunches is very important. That way if people wanna try the food, then they know what they're getting into. As for the appearance - well, all-white is obviously bad. Things that looked like barf are bad, even if they taste good. I've always considered appearance (presentation, if you will) to be a big part of food preparation - it should look tasty as well as taste tasty. Otherwise people are all '...what is that?' and you cannot sneakily get them to eat food they thought they didn't like.

Hm. Well, okay, then; looking like vomit is totally a down side (note, the Indian lunched I take to school tend to look like vomit, except the spinach one, which looks like diarrhea), and you are definitely allowed to continue grading your presentation. I figured you meant presentation like Big Chefs do, and were thinking about lighting your food on fire just before you ate it so it would look cool.
